This is funny. I was getting off the 5 train at Lex and there were so many freakin people waiting to get on... Well, instead of standing on the sides of the doors, these stupid tourists were standing right in front of the door when the doors opened. I wasn't about to politely squeeze by them... No, that would be out of character. Instead I body slammed into this dude and said "move!!" pushing him to the side. This is something that annoys me SO much!! When people stand right in front of the opening doors to the train. The man and his tourist posse were obviously startled by all the commotion, the doors closed before they could get on!!! hahahaha!!! This incident makes me more convinced that there needs to be a pamphlet given out to NY tourists when they visit the city. There are rules, etiquette rules, that people should follow in order to make their visit less inconvenient for city residents. Don't get me wrong... the city needs tourists-- esp. in the economic hardship we are in now.
Bottom line: Tourists just need to not act like such idiots.
